Sue moved to Valley Center sixteen years ago. She has loved and cared for animals for as long as she can remember and currently has three cats, five dogs, three horses, one goat, and nine chickens. She enjoys riding her horses and working with her dogs to improve their obedience training. She has a Business Degree as well as a Grooming Certification. Sue enjoys grooming dogs and cares for each pet as if it were her own.
Jill moved to California in 1979, where she started Miss Jill’s Doggery. In 1990, she joined forces with Toni-Anee Townsend and opened the grooming salon Raining Cats and Dogs. Jill has been grooming dogs for forty years and in 2005, sold her half of the grooming salon and moved on to work with Dr. William Talbot as a veterinary technician. Dr. Talbot specializes in thoroughbred reproduction and Jill thoroughly enjoyed processing lab work and caring for broodmares and newborn foals. In her spare time, Jill is a woman of faith, enjoys spending time with her horses, dogs, good friends, and family, including her two beautiful grandchildren.
Originally from Queens, NY., Debbie enjoys reading, spending time with her grandchildren and taking her two dogs, Ophelia and Lenny, on hikes. Her journey led her to San Diego where she earned her degree as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She began working at Muddy Paws in July 2016 and really enjoys watching the dogs play in day care.
Angelica was born and raised in Escondido, California. Her favorite part of working at Muddy Paws Country Spa is ensuring every pet feels loved and comforted during their stay. With her free time, she enjoys reading and taking walks with her chihuahua mix Shorty.
Dana has been in the Valley Center area since she was 3 years old. She started working at Muddy Paws in December 2016 and loves playing with the daycare dogs. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and going to the gym.
Fran has lived in Valley Center since 1980 and has been working professionally for 43 years. Fran attended Cal State San Marcos and earned her Human Resources in Management Certificate. Three years ago, she decided to retire from Valley Center MWD after working there for 23 years to pursue new and exciting things. Fran’s strongest skill is in customer service and solving problems. Her husband introduced her to the GSP breed 43 years ago, and she has been hooked ever since. She enjoys training these dogs to hunt and to stand still for judging in the show ring which is not an easy task for a GSP.
